About the Artist

Niamh Barry B.1996, UK Niamh Barry is a London-based painter working primarily in oil on canvas. She creates figurative paintings that examine loneliness, anonymity, and escapism within modern professional life. Drawing from seven years on the investment team at a major North American private equity fund, Niamh depicts anonymous figures suspended between professional obligation and the pull toward something beyond it. Moments of stillness, ritual, and withdrawal are rendered as quiet acts of escape. Niamh is primarily self-taught and has completed coursework at the University of the Arts London.
